THE ANALYSIS OF BRIGHTNESS PROFILES FUNCTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS
OF OPTICAL IMAGE OF BIPHASIC MEDIUM STRUCTURES
Background
Visual observation in real time over the formation of the transition zone allows to monitor processes in real reservoir conditions.
Aims and objectives
Analysis of the functional characteristics of the brightness profiles of the optical image water emulsion in a capillary.
Methods of investigation
Program 3D_Image of new extended version of the V31 is used.
Conclusion
Based on the analysis of the experimental image brightness profiles of heterogeneous multiphase media it can be argued that the radius of spatial correlation can be a good estimate of the average size of clusters in spatially inhomogeneous multiphase micro- and nanoscale systems.
These results are of interest from the standpoint of studying the mechanisms of formation of the islands in two-phase gaz-liquid hydrocarbon mixtures at their percolation through a porous medium.
